Module 17 has dual foci. First, we explore the critical role that chiropractors play in the diagnosis, holistic comanagement, and referral criteria in paediatric urinary tract infections and other kidney disorders. (Note: Bedwetting is covered in Module 13)
Second, we look at the health issues facing adolescents. This cohort of chiropractic patients are understudied in the literature, taking a back seat to babies, adults, and the elderly. As chiropractors, it is crucial we recognize the health characteristics of this age-group. Through a greater understanding of adolescent-specific conditions, we can care for them most effectively.
